A Vision of A Golden -Lampstand
4 And the angel who talked with me came again and woke me,
like a man
who is awakened out of his sleep.
2 And he said to me, “What do you see?” I said, “I see, and behold, a lampstand all of gold,
with a bowl on the top of it,
and
seven lamps on it,
with seven- lips on each of the lamps that are on the top of it.
|
3 And there are two olive trees by it,
one on the right of the bowl
and
the other on its left.”
4 And I said to the angel who talked with me,
"What are these, my lord?”
5 Then the angel who talked with me answered
and said to me,
“Do you not know what these are?” I said,
“No, my lord.”
6 Then he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.
7 Who are you,
O great -mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain.
And he shall bring forward the top stone amid shouts of
‘Grace, grace to it!’”
8 Then the word of the Lord came to me,
saying,
9 “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house;
his hands shall also complete it.
Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent me to you.
10 For whoever has despised the day of small things shall rejoice,
and
shall see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel.
“These seven are the eyes of the Lord, which range through the whole earth.”
11 Then I said to him,
“What are these two olive trees on the right and the left of the lampstand?”
12 And a second time I answered and said to him,
“What are these two branches of the olive trees, which are beside the two golden pipes from which the golden oil is poured out?”
13 He said to me, “Do you not know what these are?”
I said, “No, my lord.”
14 Then he said,“These are the two anointed one who stand by the Lord of the whole earth.”

Jehu Executes Jezebel
31 And as Jehu entered the gate, she said, “Is it peace, you Zimri, murderer of your master?”
32 And he lifted up his face to the window and said,
“Who is on my side? Who?”
Two or three eunuchs looked out at him.
33 He said, “Throw her down.” So they threw her down.
And some of her blood spattered on the wall and on the horses, and they trampled on her.
34 Then he went in and ate and drank. And he said,
“See now to this cursed woman and bury her, for she is a king's daughter.”
35 But when they went to bury her, they found no more of her than the skull
and
the feet and the palms of her hands.
36 When they came back and told him,
he said,
“This is the word of the Lord, which he spoke by his servant Elijah the Tishbite:
‘In the territory of Jezreel the dogs shall eat the flesh of Jezebel,
37 and the corpse of Jezebel shall be as dung on the face of the field in the territory of Jezreel,
so that no one can say,

build Jerusalem to the coming of an anointed one, a prince, there shall be seven weeks.
|
Then for sixty-two weeks it shall be built again with squares and moat,
but
in a troubled time.
26 And after the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one shall be cut off
and
shall have nothing.
|
And the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.
|
Its end shall come with a flood, and to the end there shall be war.
Desolations are decreed.
|
27 And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week,
and
for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering.
And
on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes Desolate,
until
the decreed end is poured out on the desolator.”

Daniel 12
The Time of the End
1 “At that time shall arise Michael, the great prince who has charge of your people.
And there shall be a time of trouble,
such as never has been since there was a nation till that time.
But at that time your people shall be delivered,
everyone whose name shall be found written in the book.
2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake,
some to everlasting life,
and
some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3 And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.
4 But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, until the time of the end.
Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”
5 Then I, Daniel, looked, and behold, two others stood, one on this bank of the stream and one on that bank of the stream.
6 And someone said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream,
“How long shall it be till the end of these wonders?”
7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream;
he raised his right hand
and
his left hand toward heaven
and
swore by him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and half a time,
and
that when the shattering of the power of the holy people comes to an end
all these things would be finished.
|
8 I heard, but I did not understand.
Then I said, “O my lord, what shall be the outcome of these things?”
9 He said,
“Go your way, Daniel, for the words are shut up
and
sealed until the time of the end.
10Many shall purify themselves and make themselves white and be refined,
but the wicked shall act wickedly.
And none of the wicked shall understand, but those who are wise shall understand.
11 And from the time that the regular burnt offering is taken away
and
the abomination that makes desolate is set up,
there shall be 1,290 days.
12 Blessed is he who waits and arrives at the 1,335 days.
13 But go your way till the end.
And you shall rest and shall stand in your allotted place at the end of the days.”

Warning Concerning Antichrist
18 Children, it is the last hour,
and
as you have heard that antichrist is coming,
so now many antichrists have come.
Therefore we know that it is the last hour.
19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us,
they would have continued with us.
But they went out,
that it might become plain that they all are not of us.
20 But you have been anointed by the Holy One, and you all have knowledge.
21 I write to you,
not because you do not know the truth,
but because you know it,
and
because no lie is of the truth.
22 Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ?
This is the antichrist,
he who denies the Father and the Son.
__________
26 I write these things to you about those who are trying to deceive you.
27 But the anointing that you received from him abides in you,
and
you have no need that anyone should teach you.
But as his anointing teaches you about everything,
and
is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you,
abide in him.

23 And Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How difficult it will be for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God!”
24 And the disciples were amazed at his words.
But Jesus said to them again,
“Children, how difficult it is to enter the kingdom of God!
25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.”
26 And they were exceedingly astonished,
and
said to him,
“Then who can be saved?”
|
27 Jesus looked at them and said,
“With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.”
28 Peter began to say to him,
“See, we have left everything and followed you.”
29 Jesus said,
“Truly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house
or
brothers or sisters or mother or father or children
or lands,
for my sake and for the gospel,
30 who will not receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses and brothers and sisters
and mothers and children and lands,
with persecutions,
and
in the age to come eternal life.
31 But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”

21 And he said,

22 When Jesus heard this, he said to him, “One thing you still lack.
Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor,

19 “There was a rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen

20 And at his gate was laid a poor man named Lazarus,
covered with sores,

Moreover, even the dogs came

22 The poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham's side.

The rich man also died and was buried,
23 and in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far off
and Lazarus at his side.
24 And he called out,‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me,
and
send Lazarus to dip the end of his finger in water and cool my tongue,
for I am in anguish in this flame.’

25 But Abraham said,
‘Child, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things,
and
Lazarus in like manner bad things; but now he is comforted here,
and you are in anguish.

in order that those who would pass from here to you may not be able,
and
none may cross from there to us.’

27 And he said, ‘Then I beg you, father, to send him to my father's house--
28 for I have five brothers—so that he may warn them, lest they also come into this place of torment.’
29 But Abraham said, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets;

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith.

Parable of the Barren Fig Tree
6 And he told this parable: “A man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard,
and
he came seeking fruit on it and found none.
7 And he said to the vinedresser,
‘Look, for three years now I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and I find none.
Cut it down.
Why should it use up the ground?’
8 And he answered him, ‘Sir, let it alone this year also,
until
I dig around it and put on manure.
9 Then if it should bear fruit next year, well and good; but if not, you can cut it down.’”

and
have not fed my sheep,
_________________________
Prophesy Against The Shepherd of Israel"
34 The word of the Lord came to me: 2 “Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy, and say to them, even to the shepherds, Thus says the Lord God: Ah, shepherds of Israel who have been feeding yourselves! Should not shepherds feed the sheep?
3 You eat the fat, you clothe yourselves with the wool, you slaughter the fat ones,
but
you do not feed the sheep.
4 The weak you have not strengthened, the sick you have not healed,
the injured you have not bound up,
the strayed you have not brought back, the lost you have not sought,
and
with force and harshness you have ruled them.
5 So they were scattered, because there was no shepherd,
and
they became food for all the wild beasts.
6 My sheep were scattered; they wandered over all the mountains and on every high hill.
My sheep were scattered over all the face of the earth, with none to search or seek for them.
7 “Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord:
8 As I live, declares the Lord God, surely because my sheep have become a prey,
and
my sheep have become food for all the wild beasts, since there was no shepherd,
and
because my shepherds have not searched for my sheep,
but
the shepherds have fed themselves,
and
have not fed my sheep,
9 therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord:
10 Thus says the Lord God, Behold, I am against the shepherds,
and
I will require my sheep at their hand and put a stop to their feeding the sheep.
No longer shall the shepherds feed themselves.
I will rescue my sheep from their mouths, that they may not be food for them.
_________________________
The Lord God Will Seek Them Out
11 “For thus says the Lord God: Behold, I, I myself will search for my sheep
and
will seek them out.
12 As a shepherd seeks out his flock when he is among his sheep that have been scattered,
so will I seek out my sheep,
and
I will rescue them from all places where they have been scattered on a day of clouds
and
thick darkness.
13 And I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries,
and
will bring them into their own land.
And I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the ravines,
and
in all the inhabited places of the country.
14 I will feed them with good pasture,
and
on the mountain heights of Israel shall be their grazing land.
There they shall lie down in good grazing land, and on rich pasture they shall feed on the mountains of Israel.
15 I myself will be the shepherd of my sheep, and I myself will make them lie down,
declares the Lord God.
16 I will seek the lost, and I will bring back the strayed,
and
I will bind up the injured, and I will strengthen the weak, and the fat
and
the strong I will destroy.
|
I will feed them in justice.
17 “As for you, my flock, thus says the Lord God: Behold, I judge between sheep
and
sheep, between rams and male goats.
18 Is it not enough for you to feed on the good pasture,
that you must tread down with your feet the rest of your pasture; and to drink of clear water,
that you must muddy the rest of the water with your feet?
19 And must my sheep eat what you have trodden with your feet,
and
drink what you have muddied with your feet?
20 “Therefore, thus says the Lord God to them: Behold, I, I myself will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep.
21 Because you push with side and shoulder, and thrust at all the weak with your horns,
till you have scattered them abroad,
22 I will rescue my flock; they shall no longer be a prey.
And I will judge between sheep and sheep.
23 And I will set up over them one shepherd, my servant David,
and
he shall feed them: he shall feed them and be their shepherd.
24 And I, the Lord, will be their God, and my servant David shall be prince among them.
I am the Lord; I have spoken.

|
