Al Rasheed, the House of Rashid, or the House of Rasheed (Arabic: آل رشيد Āl Rashīd; pronounced [æːl ræˈʃiːd]) were a historic dynasty of the Arabian Peninsula who ruled Emirate of Jabal Shammar, and the most formidable enemies of the House of Saud in Nejd. They were centered in Ha'il, a city in northern Nejd that derived its wealth from being on the route of the Hajj pilgrimage and was a city known for its trading, which absorbed many of the travelers that were bound to Mecca. The rulers of this city were the sons of Abdullah ibn Rashid.

Al Mannai tribes are located in the whole Persian Gulf area, especially in Qatar and Bahrain.
(Arabic: قلالي) is a small area in the Kingdom of Bahrain, located on Muharraq Island, north of Muharraq City.
Galali used to be the farthest north point of Bahrain before the development of the manmade artificial islands of Amwaj Islands.
Galali in Arabic means a group of cliffs, a high place, this is when people first found out this area of Bahrain they know it by its small cliffs
and referred to it by that name.
Around 2000 people used to live in Galali (1991 census). Today, Galali is 16 times bigger than it was 25 years ago because of reclamation of sea.
The inhabitants of the village are mostly Sunnis. The main tribes to inhabit the village are the Al Mannai, Al Jowder and Al Ansari.
The Mannai family brought out other family names such as Attiyah(Arabic: عطية) .
Before the discovery of oil in Bahrain, most of the villagers were seamen, involved in the pearl diving and fishing industry.

Mehmed Kâmil Pasha (Ottoman Turkish: محمد كامل پاشا; Turkish: Kıbrıslı Mehmed Kamil Paşa, "Mehmed Kamil Pasha the Cypriot"), also spelled as Kiamil Pasha (1833 – 14 November 1913), was an Ottoman statesman of Turkish Cypriot origin in the late 19th century and early 20th century, who became, as aside regional or international posts within the Ottoman state structure, grand vizier of the Empire during four different periods.[1]
He was born in Nicosia in 1833, son of Captain Salih Ağa from the village of Gaziler, in Cyprus. His first post was in the household of the Khedive of Egypt who at that time was only nominally dependent to the central Ottoman power in Constantinople. In the course of this appointment he visited London for the Great Exhibition of 1851 in charge of one of the Khedive's sons. Kiamil's sojourn in England left in him a lifelong admiration for Britain and during his career within the Ottoman state, he was always known to be an Anglophile.
Having full command of English, thenceforth to the close of his career he zealously sought the friendship of England for Turkey.

The eldest son of Hussein, Ali bin Hussein was born in Mecca and was educated at Ghalata Serai College (Galatasaray High School) in Istanbul (Constantinople). His father was appointed Grand Sharif of Mecca by the Ottoman Empire in 1908. However, his relationship with the Young Turks in control of the Empire increasingly became strained, and, in 1916, he became one of the leaders of the Arab Revolt against Turkish rule. Following the Revolt's success, Hussein made himself the first King of Hejaz with British support. While Hussein's sons Abdullah and Faisal were made kings of Jordan and Iraq, respectively, Ali remained the heir to his father's lands in Arabia.
The British Foreign Office had previously begun to support Sharif Hussein bin Ali, Emir of the Hejaz by sending T.E. Lawrence (a.k.a. Lawrence of Arabia) to him in 1915. The Saudi Ikhwan began to conflict with Hussein, Sharif of Mecca also in 1917 just as his sons Abdullah and Faisal entered Damascus.
