/ King Psammetichus (664–610 BC) established a garrison of foreign mercenaries at Daphnae,
mostly Carians and Ionian Greeks (Herodotus ii. 154).
In particular, he settled some Greeks at Tahpanhes (Daphnae).
Psamtik reunified Egypt in his 9th regnal year when he dispatched a powerful naval fleet in March 656 BC to Thebes
and compelled the existing God's Wife of Amun at Thebes, Shepenupet II, to adopt his daughter Nitocris I as her heiress in the
so-called Adoption Stela.
Psamtik's victory destroyed the last vestiges of the Nubian 25th Dynasty's control over Upper Egypt under Tantamani
since Thebes now accepted his authority.
Nitocris would hold her office for 70 years from 656 BC until her death in 586 BC.
Thereafter, Psamtik I campaigned vigorously against those local princes who opposed his reunification of Egypt.
One of his victories over certain Libyan marauders is mentioned in a Year 10 and Year 11 stela from the Dakhla Oasis.
Psamtik I proved to be a great pharaoh by winning Egypt's independence from the Assyrian Empire
and restored Egypt's prosperity through his long 54 Year reign.
The pharaoh proceeded to establish close relations with Hellenic Greece and also encouraged many Greek settlers to establish colonies in Egypt
and serve in the Egyptian army.
In particular, he settled some Greeks at Tahpanhes (Daphnae).

/ The Priest / of / Decapolis /
A priest (masculine) or priestess (feminine) is a person authorized to perform the sacred rituals of a religion, especially as a mediatory agent between humans and one or more deities. They also have the authority or power to administer religious rites; in particular, rites of sacrifice to, and propitiation of, a deity or deities. Their office or position is the priesthood, a term which also may apply to such persons collectively.
Priests and priestesses have existed since the earliest of times (see Proto-indo-European trifunctional hypothesis) and in the simplest societies, most likely as a result of agricultural surplus and consequent social stratification. Priests exist in many religions today, such as all or some branches of Judaism,Christianity, Shintoism, Hinduism. They are generally regarded as having positive contact with the deity or deities of the religion to which they subscribe, often interpreting the meaning of events and performing the rituals of the religion.
The question of which religions have a "priest" depends on how the titles of leaders are used or translated into English. In some cases, leaders are more like those that other believers will often turn for advice on spiritual matters, and less of a "person authorized to perform the sacred rituals" For example, clergy in Roman Catholicism and Orthodox Christianity are priests, but in Protestant Christianity they are typically minister and pastor.

Bahrain is believed to be the site of the ancient land of the Dilmun civilization[5] and later came under the rule of successive Parthian and Sassanid Persian empires. The country was one of the earliest areas to convert to Islam in 628 AD. Following a period of Arab rule, Bahrain was occupied by the Portuguese in 1521, who in turn were expelled in 1602 by Shah Abbas I of the Safavid empire. In 1783, the Bani Utbah tribe captured Bahrain from the Qajars[6] and has since been ruled by the Al Khalifa royal family, with Ahmed al Fateh the first hakim of Bahrain. In the late 1800s, following successive treaties with the British, Bahrain became a protectorate of the United Kingdom.

Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa (Arabic: خليفة بن سلمان آل خليفة) (born 24 November 1935) has been the Prime Minister of Bahrain from 1970, taking office nearly two years before Bahrain's independence on 16 December 1971. A Tribal chief, Elizaphan son of Parnach /
Most historian believes he was a Parni chief of the Dahae Scythians, who conquered Parthia shortly before Diodotus’ revolt.
The Parthian Empire (/ˈpɑrθiən/; 247 BC – 224 AD), also known as the Arsacid Empire /ˈɑrsəsɪd/,[5]was a major Iranian political and cultural power in ancient Iran, also known as ancient Persia.[6] Its latter name comes from Arsaces I of Parthia[7] who, as leader of the Parni tribe, founded it in the mid-3rd century BC when he conquered the region of Parthia[8] in Iran's northeast, then a satrapy (province) in rebellion against the Seleucid Empire. Mithridates I of Parthia (r. c. 171–138 BC) greatly expanded the empire by seizing Media and Mesopotamia from the Seleucids. At its height, the Parthian Empire stretched from the northern reaches of the Euphrates, in what is now central-eastern Turkey, to eastern Iran. The empire, located on the Silk Road trade route between the Roman Empire in the Mediterranean Basin and the Han Empire of China, became a center of trade and commerce.

Sheikh Khalifa ibn Salman Al Khalif
Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa (Arabic: خليفة بن سلمان آل خليفة) (born 24 November 1935) has been the Prime Minister of Bahrain from 1970, taking office nearly two years before Bahrain's independence on 16 December 1971.
He is the longest-serving current prime minister in the world.
He still retains his post, although under the 2002 Constitution he has lost some of his power on paper, with the King having the authority to appoint
and (along with the Bahraini parliament) dismiss ministers. He is the uncle of the reigning King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
