Pontius Pilate (/ˌpɒnᵗʃəs ˈpaɪlət/ or /ˌpɒnti.əs ˈpaɪlət/;[1][2][3] Latin: Pontius Pīlātus, Greek: Πόντιος Πιλᾶτος, Pontios Pīlātos) was the fifth prefect of the Roman province of Judaea from AD 26–36.[4][5] He served under Emperor Tiberius, and is best known from the biblical account of the trial and crucifixion of Jesus.
/ Governor /
A governor is, in most cases, a public official with the power to govern the executive branch of a non-sovereign or sub-national level of government, ranking under the head of state. In federations, governor may be the title of the politician who governs a constituent state and may be either appointed or elected. The power of the individual governor can vary dramatically between political systems, with some governors having only nominal, largely ceremonial power, while others have complete power over the entire government.

The Synod of Bishops, in the Roman Catholic Church, is an advisory body for the Pope. It is "a group of bishops who have been chosen from different regions of the world and meet together at fixed times to foster closer unity between the Roman Pontiff and bishops, to assist the Roman Pontiff with their counsel in the preservation and growth of faith and morals and in the observance and strengthening of ecclesiastical discipline, and to consider questions pertaining to the activity of the Church in the world".[1]

On 15 September 1965, as the Second Vatican Council (1962–1965) was drawing to a close, Pope Paul VI set up the Synod of Bishops, convinced that the Pope needed "to make ever greater use of the bishops' assistance in providing for the good of the universal Church" and to enjoy "the consolation of their presence, the help of their wisdom and experience, the support of their counsel, and the voice of their authority".[8]

/ Zel-icah / Zelanti / Anti- /
In Roman Catholicism, the expression zelanti has been applied to conservative members of the clergy and their lay supporters since the thirteenth century. Its specific connotations have shifted with each reapplication of the label. The Latinate term applies to those who show zeal.
In its original thirteenth-century application the zelanti were those members of the Franciscan Order who opposed any changes or relaxation to the Rule formulated by St. Francis of Assisi in 1221 and 1223. In consequence of St. Francis's severe requirements concerning the practice of poverty, his followers divided into two branches, the Zelanti, or Spirituals, and the Relaxati, known later as the Conventuals. The origin of the Fraticelli and the cause of their growth within and without the Franciscan Order must be sought in the history of the zelanti or "Spirituals".
In the eighteenth century the zelanti were the supporters of the Jesuits in the long controversy that led the suppression of the Jesuits in 1767-73. At the Papal conclave, 1774-1775 the College of Cardinals was generally divided into two blocs: curial, pro-Jesuit zelanti and political, temporizing faction, anti-Jesuit. Among thezelanti were the Italian curial cardinals who opposed secular influences on the Church. The second one included crown-cardinals of the Catholic courts. These two blocs were in no way homogenous. Zelanti were divided into moderate and radical factions.

During the papacy of Pius VII the zelanti were more radically reactionary than the politicani and wanted a highly centralised Church and vehement opposition to the secularising reforms that had resulted in France from the Revolution, which liberals were intent on spreading to the Papal States. The politicani, though not liberal, were much more moderate and favoured a conciliatory approach to dealing with the problems new ideologies and the incipient Industrial Revolution were creating in the early nineteenth century. The zelanti and the moderates featured in the Papal conclave, 1823 and the Papal conclave, 1829.

The leader of this faction was Pius VII's Cardinal Secretary of State, Ercole Consalvi,
but the zelanti wanted a much less moderate pontiff and they set fervently to this task from the time of Pius VII's death.

- In Albania a prefect (Prefekti) is the State's representative in a region (qark). His agency is called the Prefektura. Albania have 12 prefects in 12 prefectures, appointed by the Prime Minister of Albania and the Government.
- In some Spanish-speaking states in Latin America, following a French-type model introduced in Spain itself, prefects were installed as governors; remarkably, in some republics (like Peru) two levels were constructed from the French model: a prefecture and a department, the one being only part of the other.

A second wave of Jewish immigration began in the mid-19th century, during revolutions in Europe that created extensive social disruption.
Much of the Great European immigration wave to Argentina came from Western Europe, especially France.

The Frisian /ˈfriːʒən/[3] languages are a closely related group of Germanic languages, spoken by about 500,000Frisian people, who live on the southern fringes of the North Sea in the Netherlands, Germany, and Denmark. The Frisian dialects are the closest living languages to English, after Scots. However, modern English and Frisian are unintelligible to each other. Rather, the three Frisian languages have been heavily influenced by and bear similarities toDutch, Danish, and/or Low German, depending upon their respective locations. Additional shared linguistic characteristics between the Great Yarmouth area, Friesland, and Denmark are likely to have resulted from the close trading relationship these areas maintained during the centuries-long Hanseatic League of the Late Middle Ages.[citation needed]
The English term Friar is derived from the Norman French word frere ("brethren"), from the Latin frater ("brother"),
which was widely used in the Latin New Testament to refer to members of the Christian community.
The Jesuits today form the largest men's single religious order of priests and brothers in the Catholic Church,[11]
(although they are surpassed by the Franciscan family of first orders Order of Friars Minor(OFM), OFM Capuchins, and Conventuals).

- The First Order or the "Order of Friars Minor" are commonly called simply the "Franciscans". This Order is a mendicantreligious order of men, some of whom trace their origin to Francis of Assisi.[2] Their official Latin name is the Ordo Fratrum Minorum.[3] St. Francis thus referred to his followers as "Fraticelli", meaning "Little Brothers". Franciscan brothers are informally called friars or the Minorites.[4]
